What does this car say about you?

I'm not afraid of not fitting in. Open minded?

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

This is an interesting one.. people are gradually won over by it.. but you have to make people get in it.. after that their opinions are changed usually for the good as it seems almost tardis like. (you can't reach most the windscreen when sat in drivers seat cos the dash is so big)

Would you buy this car again and why?

Nope. Like i said i wouldn't be happy until i tried one.. and now i have for a year. There have been points where its suprised me how much fun i've had and points where i just wanted to kick it.. one thing i learnt is its no drivers car, partly down to the useless triptronic gears which are just crap and annoying. i miss manual gears!!...

What are you likely to buy next?

... i bought a car with manual gears! six of them! Fiat Panda 100hp and its a little piece of genius.. some say the suspensions a bit hard. I just drove a smart for the last year and it feels great just having proper suspension! (note - smart has "proper suspension" its just pretty duff)

Just retail price reasonable price for part ex and it was nearly the same price as the non leather models

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I've been wanting one of these ever since i saw early left hand drives over 5 years ago and wouldn't be happy til i had one!

What was the dealer like?

Pretty useless really. kept forgetting things. and i had to call them when i was waiting for information. Informed me of service prices.. went to smartsrus.. same job far far cheaper.

What's it like to drive?

absolute ying and yang.. very good seats.. duff suspension.. nippy acceleration.. useless gearbox. Its either suprisingly good at something or really bad at it. no inbetween. found it was best on open A roads.. and pretty good on the motorway too.. but find some bumpy B roads and you'll be reaching for the paracetamol. can be a very bumpy ride.

What's it like to park?

Contrary to belief its nothing special. yes it gets in smaller spots but it doesn't do it as easily as you might think.. and the little windows behind the doors are a waste of glass cos they're too small to see through, creating a very thick pillar effect so quite a blind spot.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Owned for one year.. no problems whatsoever. extremely well screwed together. i was suprised how well as my last car was a honda. very happy on that front.

What's most practical about your car?

Its just me and my partner, if i need 4 seats all my friends and family have 4 to 7 seater cars. Suprising what the back will take.. i managed a 21" tv no problem! Takes a good 7 bags of shopping.. no really!

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

heated seats.. soo nice at half past six in the morning in november!
