Those that have driven it have liked it, others think it looks a bit silly and small. People also worry about its safety.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, because the cost of owning it (after initial purchase) is so low. I only sold mine as it didn't have air con, in retrospect should have bought a higher spec model.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes, it was well priced at the time and the car had only 12,000 miles.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Wanted something small and efficient just to commute to work in.

What was the dealer like?

Friendly and didn't pressure us.

What's it like to drive?

Honestly one of the most fun cars I've ever driven. It's small wheelbase and lack of power steering make it feel like a go kart, and it can be pushed to its limit with little risk as its only a small engine. I also like the semi-auto gear change but it's let down by the very slow shifts.

What's it like to park?

Brilliant, can even park sideways in a standard bay.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Clutch actuator broke which I hear is a common problem but wasn't too expensive to fix. It did leave the car undrivable at a local shopping centre though. Also Mercedes Teeside broke the oil sump housing during a service when they removed the oil plug, charging me £500.

What's most practical about your car?

The price of everything is ridiculously cheap it makes driving a pleasure. Road tax £30, insurance for two £130, full tank of fuel £30. Also as its small you can park in unusual tight spaces.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Nil, as there really aren't any on the Pure model. I bought Smart cupholders, airbag disable switch and aux cable as extras.
