What does this car say about you?

A Q car compared to my previous Prious - and far better than using the train for my trip to work.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Not much really. Although they are surprised by the financials - economy, lease price, low company car tax and zero congestion charge. Then they become interested.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Probably not and i will need more space in my next car. Also the pace of change in hybrids is fast, so I would evaluate all the options from Toyota and others.

What are you likely to buy next?

To replace this another hybrid - which is financially mandatory whilst I commute into central London. I would also consider other zero congestion charge cars as long as they offered an auto box and decent trim levels.

    Yes

    £0

When did you buy the car?

    September 2011

Did you get a good deal and why?

The car is leased through Leaseplan. Delivered to my home by the supplying dealer - simple and easy.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

To commute into London. My second Hybrid after a Mk2 Prius.

    What was the dealer like?

    What's it like to drive?

I drive a 100 miles commute each weekday; country lanes, A roads, motorway and city roads. It's a relaxing but dull car to drive. Steering feel is non existant, and the lack of torque is exposed uphill when the engine buzzes like a scooter whilst it struggles to maintain speed. The M11 Jcn 6 to 7 in particular exposes this. But I do like it - it does exactly what I bought it for - low stress and economical trips to and from work.

    What's it like to park?

Easy - the reversing camera is brilliant, although T Spirit spec should get front sensors as standard.

Have you had any problems with the car?

No. It's like a German washing machine, no drama, no thrills just does its job day after day.

What's most practical about your car?

CVT gearbox and hybrid drive train are exemplary in London traffic. Consistent 48 mpg in mixed driving regardless of driving style. Compromises are boot space (new gen Lithium batteries would solve this) and the small petrol tank which limits range to <400 miles.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

    Reversing camera, folding mirrors.
