no I won't buy a car from a manufacturer who dismisses customer's opinions without making further enquiries or taking on board real worries

What's it like to drive?
Not too good at fast acceleration but keeps speed and MPG well
What's it like to park?
I'm great at parking so this is not much of a question!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Alternator clutch pulley collapsed so powered steering disappeared. Could have been a serious accident had it happened 5min later in rush hour traffic. £500+ bill. VW not interested even in asking why it happened in a 3.5yr old car. Garage says it's a known phenomen(??????) in VW cars. Who else has ahd this problem? Is that why VW didn't need to ask about it and were extremely dismissive, in fact didn't want to know?
