Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not for me to say! family man? big wheels = early mid life crisis?
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Wife thinks its great for family life but not over keen on driving it (too big) Dad likes it but thinks its feels "heavy".
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. Now at the end of 3 year lease and as great as it is and its predecessor was (another 3 year stint before that), its time for a change.
What are you likely to buy next?
Audi A6 saloon costs a similar amount to lease - but the BIK is a killer. So considering a V70, Mazda6 or 320ED Plus........we shall see!

Business Contract Hire - very competitive compared with leasing companies.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Pleased with previous Passat estate, but this was a plusher model with more toys! A4 avant couldn't match the space. unfortunately,.
What was the dealer like?
Sales - excellent. Sorting our problems thereafter, not so good.....

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent on motorway and good to throw around on country roads. ride can be a bit harsh but do have the 18" alloys. Plenty of oomph in it!
What's it like to park?
Its a large car and did not come with sensors, which is surprising. so, not the easiest.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Whistling passenger door. Took over a year for VW to finally change the seal rather than blaming a misaligned wing mirror/door handle. Rear screen washer developed a leak which wasn't aware about until washer fluid jetted out of seat belt housing in pillar. Took a few weeks to sort with several trips to VW which did strand me on the 2nd occasion when they decided they wouldn't be finished in a day and could not offer a courtesy car (not happy) Rattle behind dashboard. Same as previous Passat. No explanation.
What's most practical about your car?
Boot. cabin space.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Auto boot opening.
