    July 2006

Did you get a good deal and why?

I'm not convinced anyone ever gets a good deal at a main dealer.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    What was the dealer like?

Quite good, returned all my calls, was happy to help with most requests. No special effort made though, wouldn't even give me an umbrella!

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Engine is fantastic, so much torque, feels quicker than my S4. Handles well for a 3 tonne car, feels heavy at the front but that's to be expected. Very comfortable for any sort of journey, however the air suspension seems to hit bumps quite hard at lower speeds, drove a normally sprung model and it felt more composed, sports setting on the air suspension is ridiculously hard.

    What's it like to park?

No problem for me or the wife, parking sensors both ends, high driving position makes it easier to deal with the size. Also difficult to kerb wheels unless very high kerbs.

  • Living with it

    4 out of 5 4.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Keyless entry system is a bit fiddly, works when it wants, been in twice with no major improvement. Battery needed replacing, dealer insisted on having the car 3 times for a total of 3.5 weeks for drain tests as they felt it wasn't the battery. Other niggly bits and pieces.

What's most practical about your car?

Great for the kids, easy to get them and all the stuff that goes with them in and out.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Memory pack, one press of a button and everything is where I left it.
