Volvo V40 (1996 - 2004) 1.8i SE (122bhp) 5d Owner Review

If you're going to get a V40, make sure you get an SE as in lower spec it's really not a nice car. Overall looks good with the factory spoiler, without it looks rather horrid. Speed is very good, wouldn't ever say the car is slow, has plenty of torque to get you onto a motorway. The comfort level is amazing, very supportive seats and a good driving position. More than enough space in the boot aswell. I dislike the stock sound of the 1.8 GDI as it's very whiney. An aftermarket Cone Filter (You will need an Adapter for the MAF) helps give the car a nice sound. Overall, the car is amazing to travel in, however far! It provides good handling and comfort, best of both worlds.
