Value
Best value bought used and about 2-3 years old. SE models best and don't carry much premium once older.
Costs
VERY cheap to run - 50+MPG even when thrashed. Servicing roughly every 18k.

Deceptively lively - Providing you cog swap. Corners well. Driving aids are a little obtrusive (ESP etc.).
Performance
Hey! Its a 75bhp diesel...Aluminium body helps and overall pleasantly surprised.

Reliability
Utterly reliable - Commuted 65+miles a day for well over a year. No expense other than fuel. Synthetic oil bit pricey.

Mixed: technophobes love it. Joe average doesn't appreciate the technology. Can look a wee bit toy like, when your my size! Tech. exterior not really reflected in the dash layout etc. All standard (good!) AUDI fare.
Comfort
Never uncomfortable and I'm a tad under 6ft 5. Did not experience rear seats. Plenty of legroom and adjustments.
