In their own words

For: Practical, spacious, understated for what it is, the engine is the best bit, ticks alot of boxes with the hatchback, fall in love with it again after driving other cars, can be relatively economical at times but you don't really buy one for the economy haha! Against: RS tax for some of the parts from a dealer, the front brakes aren't all that and the front discs are overpriced, understeer unless remedied, quirks - probably from cramming a 5 cylinder into an a3 (you sometimes get steam come up out of the grill when you stop the engine if it's cold or wet) The aircon can be noisey at times No space saver available that fits over the front brakes that I'm aware of.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

"zoom zoom" haha! The platform isn't perfect with the understeer which affects these models but can be remedied quite easily with a rear anti roll bar. Enjoy driving it regardless of whether driving it steadily (surprisingly good economy for the power and engine size if you drive it steady or on a run) and addictive when putting the hammer down - who doesn't love the sound of a 5 cylinder.
