Wanted a good value and reliable estate to lug things around in while not looking too "estatey"

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Superb response when driving on windy roads and motorway alike. Turbo can get you out of trouble when needed (but a bit thirsty)
What's it like to park?
Good - no parking sensors but dimensions are easy to judge. Good all round visibility.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Rear wash/wiper doesn't work (common problem on VAG cars of a certain age apparently). Airbag warning light came on on dash after my wife pushed the passenger seat back too vigorously! (again, a common fault apparently on VAG cars where the electrics for airbags terminate on a panel beneath the seats). Need to get a technician to reset the error...
