Owned for 7 years before fuel pump gave up and spat metal fragments throughout the fuel system and engine. £3k to replace everything that was damaged, with no guarantees of fixing it, but car only now worth £4k, so sold for scrap for £300. Pocket says ouch! How can a simple part failure right off a car. Internet search shows this is not an unknown problem. Little things regularly go wrong and nothing is cheap on an Audi. 2 door lock actuators replaced at £200+ a time, rear wash/wipe at £100, heated windscreen jets at £50 each, air intake valve at £200, cam belt not cheap, brakes all round not cheap. If you can afford to buy two Audis, then you can afford to run one.
