Economy
Value
Most of the things that are considered "extras" are provided as standard on this car and I feel that this is reflected in the price. However, I think it's still better value than BMW, Mecedes etc.
Costs
Costs not too bad considering that it's serviced regularly at the main dealership and being the 1.9 diesel it's very thrifty on fuel giving me over 50mpg on average even after 120,000 miles on the clock.

On the road
Driving
Drives well but does have a little softness in suspension but I feel that this is probably deliberate to make the car more comfortable on longer motorway driving. Passengers I've had in the car usually say that it's a very quiet, stable car.
Performance
Not high performance being 1.9 diesel but this is not an important feature as I'm more interested in economy and safety. However, the car has traveled down the German autobahn at 110mph with more to spare!

Living with it
Reliability
Excellent reliability, always starts first time and has never broken down in spite of having done over 120,000 miles to date. If it keeps going at this rate I won't need to buy another just yet!

The car is what I'd call conservative - or understated - in styling but that suits me fine. I'ts not so "flash" as a BMW but I still pefer it.
Comfort
Very comfortable, long trips are not tiring as they were with other makes of cars I've driven. Passengers usually state that they've had a very comfortable trip (in fact they often fall asleep!)

Security
Security seems good but but has never been "tested in anger" as far as I know.
Service
No problems with service - the garage cannot do enough and the car is valeted after every service.

Engine
None - still runs well.
Other
Some wear on suspension bushes, the clutch was replaced and an engine mount was replaced but that can only be expected for the mileage.
