Likes a fun yet practical car.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Most of the guys I know seem to like it for the same reasons as me but I think most of the women could take it or leave it. Saying that, my wife really likes it and says its easy to drive and that she feels very safe in it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, but only if I needed the space.

What are you likely to buy next?

If I was down sizing id look at an A4 avant or a BMW 3 series estate.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I bought my car at an auction. It ended up being a reasonable deal as the other bidders were dealers looking to make a profit on their own sale. So in effect I was cutting out the middle man and saved myself a grand or two.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wanted a family car that was also sporty and fun to drive with the added bonus of being very safe. The quattro option has also been very helpful in all the snow we've had the last couple of years.

What's it like to drive?

Although this may be seen as a big car it drives like a very sure footed medium. This car really shines when traveling at speed. Powerful, nimble and feels solid as a rock with the 4wd.

What's it like to park?

I live on a very narrow street and parking spaces (when available) are often only just big enough. I find it easy to park and reverse out of my street. (Which I do daily).

Have you had any problems with the car?

A couple of bulbs have gone and I've had to replace the tyres.

What's most practical about your car?

Although the A6 avant hasn't got the largest internal space for an estate car it's not far off, but with the added bonus of still driving as if it were empty. A great all rounder.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The on board computer with large colour monitor with satnav, etc etc etc. Very handy.
