What does this car say about you?

That I'm a bit conservative and understated.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They think it is a lovely car, that it is very smooth ride on the road and it is very quiet inside. In fact many have been surprised to discover that it is a diesel!

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would buy a similar model again when funds allow. The later models have even more "toys" to play with and they now have better fuel consumption (although the fuel consumption is very good).

What are you likely to buy next?

Audi A6 quattro avant (or perhaps an Audi Q5) but the A6 is my favourite choice at the moment.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I got a reasonable deal when I traded in my previous Audi A6 avant.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wanted a 4wd drive car.

What was the dealer like?

The dealer was very helpful and was able to setup the transfer of my previous number plate to the car.

What's it like to drive?

It is a lovely cruiser down country roads and motorways. In town traffic the tiptronic gearbox makes driving very easy. I used to disdain automatics but this car has changed my mind and I just love it. The 3 litre diesel engine has huge torque and I can use the steering wheel paddles to change gear to give me a lot of oompf for over taking when necessary.

What's it like to park?

The car is quite long and this can be a disadvantage when looking for a suitable street parking space. However, it is supplied with rear parking sensors and this is a great help when reversing to park.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing has gone wrong with it so far. It has been very reliable and it has only needed MOT and servicing.

What's most practical about your car?

It can carry almost everything and the tiptronic gearbox makes towing very easy. In the last 2 bad winters it was wonderful to have the 4wd drive system.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The permanent 4wd drive, adjustable air suspension, the foldaway towing bracket and the Audi multimedia interface (MMI). The sound quality is excellent.
