At least £3k cheaper and better equiped than BMW 5-Series or Merc E-Class 2.4 of same year.
Costs
Not cheap to buy, but dealer discount, free road tax, 1 year warranty were worth approx £2k. Running costs less than equivalent German alternatives, as long as you do not use factory replacements.
