    The best thing about purchasing this was that virtually everything comes as standard. Managed to sell for £16K after three years (66% of purchase price).

    Servicing not cheap however I had the car 3 years and it only needed servicing once (perhaps I didn't drive it hard it enough?).

    No complaints whilst I had it, if you need the power it is there (just knock it down a gear if you don't believe me. However my Cooper S is quicker/cheaper/holds better value.

    Indicators went squiffy after 2 years (needed the hazard button replacing). Petrol gauge went squiffy after three years (needed the whole instrument replacing). Paintwork on the roof rack rails blistered as water underneath - all repaired under warranty.

    Whenever anything needed doing under warranty I had chase the dealer, they never rang me to say parts delivered etc.
