When did you buy the car?

    October 2013

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes I got a goo deal, the car’s emission control light came on, and the dealer replaced lots of parts, new sensors, pre ignition coils, new spark plugs, fan assembly and refurbished clocks.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

    Being a Quattro.

    What was the dealer like?

The dealer works from his house, there was no pressure sales, I took the car for a long test drive, motorway driving, country lanes, dual carriageways and town driving. The emission light came on again, and the dealer did not hesitate to resolve the problem, would certainly recommend dealer.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Very easy to drive, the 3.2 power unit manages very well on the road, climbs hills without effort, holds the road, like the car is on rails, one flaw is the roof is low, so sometimes can be hard to see the traffic lights, I am 6’ 1”, can be hard to get in or out of the car if parked in tight spaces.

    What's it like to park?

As the car is small, it is a cinch to park the car, but try and give yourself space to get in and out of the car, if you are tall.

Have you had any problems with the car?

I have had a smile on my face, ever since having the car, looks great with black paint work, and red leather interior. The Emission Control light, has come on twice in 3 months, and both times the dealer has sorted problems out. Also the brakes needed looking at, rear brake pads and discs cost me just over £300, and with dealer’s discount, I had the front discs (330mm), pads and sensor lines replaced which cost just over £500, all ok now.

What's most practical about your car?

Getting from A to B very quickly, with fantastic roadholding, the fuel economy is not much different from my old Volvo C70 convertible.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The DSG is a great gearbox, 18 inch BBS wheels look great.
