What does this car say about you?

I'm 'ecodynamic' and boring. I'd rather save 30/40 miles per tank and have less smiles per tank. Bit dull really...

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

It is what it is, sums it up nicely...

Would you buy this car again and why?

Certainly not. Maybe the 135i. But BMW are - for me - about being a driving machine. Which this most certainly is not...

What are you likely to buy next?

    Not another 1 series...

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Didn't buy from a dealer

Did you buy this car new?

    Yes

    What price did you pay?

    £22,500

When did you buy the car?

    April 2015

Did you get a good deal and why?

    £69 month company car tax...great for a 22k hatchback.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Recieved the car with 100 miles on the clock whilst waiting for my company car to be ordered / built...

    What was the dealer like?

    N/A

  • Driving it

    2 out of 5 2.0

    What's it like to drive?

Dull. Bit boring. But it is the 116D. It doesn't ever feel RWD which is strange because it is fairly brisk for a 116D and the engine revs nicely to 5K no worries...

    What's it like to park?

    Awesome. Like any hatchback...

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Not as such but any CD brand new or old skips badly over bumps in the road and takes 2 - 5 seconds to scroll from track to track, very slow...

What's most practical about your car?

It's not all that practical. The front door pockets are well designed though...as is the centre console and arm rest.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Cruise control is good, if speed is reduced quickly it breaks for you! Not as good as VAGs adaptive cruise control though. Sat Nav however is brilliant, a lot better than most!
