    Good quality build.

    Costs

    3 out of 5 3.0

Use a good independant specialist. Using parts from the likes of Euro car parts or German and Swedish. Low insurance compared to bigger brothers. Very good mpg at 35+!!

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Even this, the baby of the coupes, gives a fun drive with excellent feedback through the stering and a well balanced chasis. Good brakes, too.

    Performance

    2 out of 5 2.0

140bhp - not too bad for a 1.8, though needs to be kept above 4000rpm to be on the boil!

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    5 out of 5 5.0

138,000 miles on the clock and barely needed to lift the bonnet. Uses virtualy no oil and not a rattle to be heard from anything mechanical on the car.

    4 out of 5 4.0

Certain amount of stigma attatched, but personaly I think it's got style.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Comfortable seats and perfect driving position. Suspention can be a bit too solid on some of Britain's wonderfully maintained roads! Revving 4-cylinder engine can be tiring on long motorway journeys.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0

Not experienced any problems with theft, but have been the victim of malicious vandalism.

    Service

    3 out of 5 3.0

Not had much dealings with them. They charge an arm and a leg for everything.
