Value
Bought second hand (only second owner). Expensive new, but can pick up a bargain.
Costs
BMW garages are expensive, but what do you expect? Shop around for a good one - I had a nightmare with the first one, but found Heathrow BMW to be excellent.

Best car I've ever owned and driven. Superb handling.
Performance
Enough power to see you out of trouble! Heavy car takes a bit to get going.

Overall good, although silly things like having to replace a lot of bulbs!

Very comfortable, even quite roomy in the back.

BMW's own security system seems pretty good. Also, make sure you have locking wheel nuts.

Terrible from Millcars, but excellent from BMW Heathrow.
