Value
A great value second hand car. Held its value nicely.
Costs
Easy on the juice and annual services were under £100 (not carried out by BMW servicing… of course).

Driving
One of the best handling cars I've owned… apart from snow... mine didn't like snow or ice.
Performance
The 1.8 litre packs a decent punch.

Reliability
Pretty good... with the exception of a few shocks and a set of tyres I never had to do any major work to the car.

A well kept 1994 model can still catch eyes - Black IS the colour.
Comfort
I've had a few 5 and 6 hour journeys... comfort was quite good.
