It's a nice car, but if i was to buy again i would get a newer, higher specification car from a company like Toyota.

    Costs

    1 out of 5 1.0

BMW costs are servicing costs are shocking. I would only ever get it done by a private experienced garage. Fuel costs only slightly higher than my old 1.8 Vectra

  • On the road

    Driving

    3 out of 5 3.0

This is my first rear wheel drive car and i have to so that i find it over rated for handleing. However, there is no road noise whatsoever.

    Performance

    2 out of 5 2.0

I would strongly recommend getting a 323 if you are looking at this range, a small amount extra for a lot more power.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    3 out of 5 3.0

It has had a few faults including needing a new power steering rack, but warrenty did it all with a free 5 series whilst the work was being done.

Impressive to people who know nothing about cars! But a 4 door 3 series is as common as much these days.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Can't fault this in any way, electric climate control and clearly a lot of research done on ergonomics by B.M.W. Armrest and footrest in just the right position

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Don't really know until someone steals it, but nobody has even tried to break in yet, unlike my old cars.

    Service

    2 out of 5 2.0

The dealer lost my car keys, and wanted to charge me £1000 for a new power steering rack, however, when the price was finally agreed to be wavered they carried out the work fast and well.
