Value
Bought mine from an independent specialist for a lot less money than from a BMW garage, parts like bulbs etc no more expensive than other cars.
Costs
Drive it sensibly and you will get a good return on fuel, very good on motorways, try and find a local specialist for servicing and you will save a fortune.

On the road
Driving
A lovely car to drive, although it can feel rather heavy at times. I found the clutch to be heavy when sitting in traffic, will buy an auto next time.
Performance
Lots of torque and low down grunt, makes a wonderful sound when you push it hard, wonderful smooth straight six engine.

Living with it
Reliability
Mine was 5 years old, have to accept that some things will need to be replaced, take to an independent garage to make the pill easier to swallow.

Although it now has been replaced by the new model, its still up there in the fashion stakes.
Comfort
Comfy in the front, not so in the back for adults if you have to sit behind a tall driver, fronts seats can take a lot of working out how to adjust them.
