In their own words

Really pleased with my choice, two months in. I did a lot of research/test driving ahead of the purchase and feel that it was time well spent. I had driven an E Class for the past few years and was looking for something a little smaller but without losing all of the ride enjoyment of the larger car. I was keen on the look and spec. of the M Sport but could not live with the firmness (bit of understatement there) of the ride and it was then that I was pointed towards the M Sport Plus. The key difference with this M sport Plus pack, at a cost a little over £2000, is that it contains the adaptive suspension option which transforms the quality of the ride completely. I went for two other extras to the basic price, metallic paint and the technology pack. Along with the M Sport Plus pack, this selection on the 320i brought the manufacturers list price in at just £10 or £20 under the £40,000 figure which triggers the five-year road tax increase. The on-the-road price of this spec. is just a couple of hundred pounds north of the £40,000 mark but purchased at the right time of the right month, something upwards of 15% discount should be achievable. Other comments about the car aside from the ride comfort already mentioned. It is both fun to drive and at the same time very relaxing on longer journeys. This model is very well finished internally and coupled with the technology pack, has most comforts and gadgets covered. The only thing I am missing from previous cars (and there are many additions) is electric seat adjustment - not the end of the world. This is the new 2019 model, I am told the seventh version in the history of the 3 Series and listening to those who were familiar with the model it replaces, a marked improvement in most areas. As I said at the start, I am really pleased with the car and have marked it a 5 Star accordingly. In doing so, my only concern is that it should influence anybody to purchase who has not read my suspension advice.
