Value
Buying pre-reg provided saving, plus High residual value.
Costs
Cheap 10k service, tyres costly, fuel econ 27mpg at best.

Driving
High road and wind noise, high engine noise due to gearing. Needs 6th gear.
Performance
Sluggish at low revs, frequently stalls. Performance picks up above 3.5k revs but quickly maxed out. Seems fast in second gear around corners, otherwise disappointing.

Reliability
Seat belt not working - unacceptable for new car plus pre-reg used car checks which failed to pick it up. Cracked accelerator housing required warranty repair.

Looks better from the outside than driving inside.
Comfort
Hard ride due to sports suspension. Rear sports seats restrict seating for 3 people. CD/Sound system disappointing, all front speakers.

Service
3 hour wait for 1 hour while-u-wait service. Not approached by any BMW staff in those 3 hours. Two other customers had loud disputes with service staff regarding delays and damaged sills.
