BMW as you would expect have produced driving and engineering brilliance in this car. However they seem to have been less focused on the technology user interface for things like the satnav and multimedia interfaces. Everything works flawlessly but some controls can be fiddly compared to VAG group cars. Handling brilliant as you would expect, not the largest of estates, but I wasn't looking for a 'box'. Ride somewhat firm maybe partially due to the run-flats, but very planted at motorway speeds. Dual stage turbo absolutely brilliant, you are never off-boost. Build quality akin to a Scottish castle !
How reliable do you find the car?
Early days yet but seems pretty solid mechanically.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Excellent performance and sublime Auto box. Some of the ergonomics not quite as good as they should be for example the multimedia implementation and slightly fiddly cruise control.About their car
