In their own words

The reviews are all true, comfortable, very fast, surprisingly economical, driven gently brakes, disks and tyres last a long time. They are all very well equipped, for the price they are a real bargain. BUT You MUST make sure the car you buy hasn’t been abused. It’s cheap and easy to chip them then remove the tune. This would put huge stress on the car and create huge bills. They must be warmed up gently for about 10 miles each journey. This makes them quite impractical for someone who wants to hop in and flog the thing. Launch control knackers the car. The car has some basic but irritating F10 platform age related faults which are BMW 5 series expensive to fix, but I ran a car for about 2.5yrs and had only one M unrelated fault that I could of ignored but fixed under warranty. If you find and buy a mint, cared for car, it will be a great purchase. If you get suckered into a car that’s been abused or is due a big service then stand by for some big bills. All the brakes and disks is a 3k job. Tyres are 1k. Make sure they have been done and you have a BMW service history.
