Very good value for money now, can be had for £500 - £2000.

Very thirsty and BMW service is very important as can be very costly.

Absolutely mind blowing, especially if you chip one. But even standard it will through any boy racer.

Living with it
Reliability
Will start first time every time, be it hot or cold and it's still on its original starter motor and alternator. Doesn't burn a drop of oil and never smokes. It still pulls like a new car.

If you have the SE spec, it comes with the M-Tech bodykit and boot spoiler. Stick some 17 inch wheels on and you've got a dreamy looking car.

The most comfortable car I have ever had the pleasure to sit in.

Slight problem on idle tickover, rectified by cleaning the air flow meter and idle control valve rather than replacing them all. Cost £0.
