Absolutely excellent. Bought mine over two years ago for under £9k, still worth £7k!

Absolutely excellent. Having family in the trade meant favourable servicing.

Whether wallowing round town or cruising on the motorway then this is the beast to drive.
Performance
For under 2000cc it is slightly under powered. Should have gone for a 523.

I am at 135,000 and no breakdowns... nothing. That's BMW for you.

Comfort
Drove all the way back from Liverpool to Brighton in one-hit. Still had the energy to go out that night.

Slightly underpowered. 523 would be a better option.

Heavy on tyres. Once worn out, feels like the steering is out. Replaced four tyres. Kwik Fit quoted £550. No way. I ordered tyres off internet and got my local garage to fit – £250 all in. I saved £300!
