Don't use new car garage. Loads of BMW specialists (ex BMW people) make servicing as cheap as any other premium car

Performance
Very fast for an estate car. Goes round corners better than any non 4wd hot hatch. Amazing handling.

124k. I needed new front wishbones after overloading it with too many building materials. (Not obvious given its self levelling suspension)

10 yrs ago it was for seriously well off people only. Now its cheap, still looks expensive I think.

Lovely to drive long distances. Not too low to jump in and out either when in town.
