In their own words

1. Ultra economical to run - mostly fast 7kw charge at home (solar or night rate) - almost 4miles per kwhr (but less at motorway speed) - zero road tax 2. Safe, stable, quick, reliable get away, no gear change or stalling, easy relaxed driving 3. Low carbon emission v. global warming 4. Rarely used petrol scooter engine, ok to steady 70mph - avoids worry of flat battery or duff charging station 5. Well-thought out controls - lights, satnav, pre-climatise before journey etc. 6. Tight turning circle, compact for parking 7. Little, rare maintenance needed - so low cost 8. No worry that main engine/motor won't start 9. Battery (lithium), chassis (aluminium) etc. can be recycled 10. Rust-free light-weight carbon-fibre body 11. Easy access to passenger seat for disabled 12. Access to 2 rear seats might not be the easiest ie. for elderly or if in narrow park space. VERDICT:- Would readily buy again, ideally with the higher spec. ie. led headlights, heat-pump heater, radar safety warning device + new type, larger capacity, longer range battery to avoid need for scooter engine backup - and to recharge less often.

How reliable do you find the car?

Hatch door-lock failed locked - tight access to fixing screws inside below door. Glass rear hatch fragile - not repairable.
