BMW X1 (2009 - 2015) xDrive 23d SE 5d Step Auto Owner Review

Very comfortable on a long run (SE seats not M-Sport), reasonably quick and reasonably economical. A relatively nice car to drive but sleepless nights from: Runflat tyres - great for some journeys, not for others when you're 150 miles from home Transfer box worries - why can BMW not make an AWD system that doesn't rely on all the tyres being the same and of an approved type Autobox - reputation for failing prematurely due to the internal clutch packs Camchain - dreaded starting the engine in a morning in case I heard the dreaded camchain rattle
