What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

It's the sort of car that everyone seems to admire and approve of.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I might be tempted to upgrade to an Alpina or M model but I doubt if either of them would have the blend of performance and economy that the 3 litre exhibits.

What are you likely to buy next?

Having assessed the S2000 (cramped and frantic) and Boxster S (uncomfortable and thirsty) before purchase I am unlikely to change manufacturer. Also the car is low mileage and I only do a couple of thousand a year in it so I expect to keep it for some time.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

To upgrade from a Z3 2.8.

What was the dealer like?

What's it like to drive?

The ride and handling have been greatly improved by replacing the run-flats with a set of Michelin PS2s. Terrific grip and bags of mid-range torque make the car great fun to drive. It's also fine on the motorway with little wind buffet at high speed when the roof is down.

What's it like to park?

Easy enough but you need to take account of the long snout.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing to date.

What's most practical about your car?

Cabin space, comfort and the size of the boot.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The sports button - it transforms the car!
