What does this car say about you?

Makes me look like a child driving "daddys car" (not my dads car).

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They all like it, prefer it to the honda as its quieter and a nicer place to sit.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Im glad ive bought this car but i wouldnt buy this again. not that i dont like it, but if i was getting a new car i'd go for something different.

What are you likely to buy next?

Im not too sure, i like head turning cars so would (if i can afford it) a second hand lotus evora, the 09 models when come down in price a little.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Deal was ok. not an especially good deal but i wanted the car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Something to replace my honda s2000.

What was the dealer like?

Friendly but tried to pull some crafty tricks when px my s2000.

What's it like to drive?

Quiet and refined, but loud when you put your foot down. for a better sound you can remove a piece of foam from a sound pipe under the bonnet (instructions found on the internet will show you how, and dont worry, its put there so it can be removed) for thrill and excitement behind the wheel it isnt as good as the s2000, but day to day driving its much nicer. handles just as good, seems steadier around the corners where the s2000 was much more twitchy.

What's it like to park?

Big bonnet makes it tricky to judge distances at the front, but judging the back is much easier as the seating position is far back. turning circle is good.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The Motor for the roof failed. its a common fault with the z4 and frankly, a poor design. water easily gets into the compartment where the roof motor sits, drain holes get blocked and water builds up and drowns the motor. THIS IS NOT COVERED IN WARRANTIES because they claim it is due to water ingress, which is not covered on any warranty i know of. you would expect a better design from BMW. cost £600... thanks BMW for the poor design, and Momentum warranties for the poor customer service. everything else with the car is ok so far.

What's most practical about your car?

As far as convertibles go its practical. big boot which can be made bigger when the roof is up. glove box, center glove box, cup holders, parcel shelves tucked away behind the seats. much more practical than my s2000 was.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Cruise control. makes longer distances much easier.
