Excellent at the time, before everyone else started cost-cutting.

Economical for engine size. Very reasonable six monthly servicing costs - some as low as £90.

Quite taut and firm riding but raucous engine deters spirited driving even with the 5-gear manual version.

Perfectly adequate power-to-weight marred by unsophisticated engine.

Good leather seats. Ride a bit rough unless full.

Remote locking/alarm sometimes "jammed" by nearby cellular transmitters - best to check that doors are locked, since there is no clue given by the alarm.
Service
Marlborough Jeep (Isleworth) excellent cossetted environment for waiting customers - possibly Iselworth's best cup of coffee (and biscuits)!
