  • Summary

    3 out of 5 3.0

What does this car say about you?

Trying to be stylish and different.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    Hey, stylistic and different.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Doubt it. Practical in so many ways then horribly impractical in others. I couldn't replace my headlight bulbs when they went on the motorway (drove on foglights) and the rear bulbs aren't sold at petrol stations.

What are you likely to buy next?

Staying with roadsters. Impractical yet far easier to live with. I bought a BMW Z3.

  • Buying experience

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Independent

Did you buy this car new?

    Yes

    What price did you pay?

    £21,000

When did you buy the car?

    November 2005

Did you get a good deal and why?

No. Would never buy a new car. Got advice from 3-4 sources who were all looking to make money for themselves and just said whatever they needed to get that done. Basically got no money off either.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Needed a family car so had to give up driving 2seaters.

    What was the dealer like?

    Indifferent and money grabbing.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

    Generally okay. Dreadful turning circle.

    What's it like to park?

    Like a regular saloon.

  • Living with it

    3 out of 5 3.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

I do a lot of motorway miles so modern cars do good by me for reliability beyond normal wear and tear. Switch assembly for fog lights/indicators goes wrong on these and cost about 8 times more than should to fix at the dealership - apparently it can be repaired for about 10 quid.

What's most practical about your car?

Like a van with the rear seats out. Excellent.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Leather seats and the sun roof.
