Citroen C5 Aircross (2022) review

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Asides from aforementioned cabin/load space and comfortable ride, this 2025 hybrid set up is excellent - a regular 7 mile trip across the city delivers almost 60mpg using the battery exclusively for 60% of the time (with the a/c off and windows open). The interchange between battery and engine drive is seamless and has convinced me our next car will be a full EV. Comfort over driving dynamics is our priority in a car and we're very pleased to have test drove a Citroen and to have benefited from the current discounts on offer prior to the new 2026 model. As a second hand purchase you would do very well I am sure.

How reliable do you find the car?

Sometimes the infotainment is slow to load at start up. Climate control is a bit on or off so the range above or below the temperature you set is noticeable eg set for 20c it can get to 22c or 18c before striving to average the set 20c.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

My wife has pain and access issues. The ease to enter/egress with wide door openings is excellent, the boot space easily accommodates her mobility aids. The biggest positive, which is why we looked at Citroen, is the comfortable ride quality.
