From new all korean cars depreciate heavily, but get one for under £2k and it is excellent value.

    Driving

    5 out of 5 5.0

This was my first car but having also driven a recent renault clio, renault laguna and various fords, this car is very responsive with its 1.5 twin cam engine, acceleration is excellent and steering is responsive

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Again acceleration is excellent. Top speed over 110mph and it gets there quickly. Good on motorways and in the street. Veyr purky.

Above average. nothing major happened to mine and nothing very costly. Starts very well even in the cold.

Not the best. Ive added a rear spoiler and 15inch alloys to mine and they have helped a great deal. But for a cheap, possibly first car you don't need a ferrari

    Comfort

    5 out of 5 5.0

Best car I've ever driven in. Seats are angled well, not too soft and not too hard. Adjustable driving position is very useful. Great for long journeys.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0

Immobiliser as standard, no alarm. But who would want to steal one?

    Service

    4 out of 5 4.0

Dont go through Daewoo (now chrysler) dealers as they charge a fortune for parts. Parts are readily available through most high street car dealers especially those dealing with Jap and Asian cars.
