Cost me £600, bought it to use for work miles and it's paid for itself (and all servicing) within 10 months.
Costs
Quite cheap with GM parts, although brakes and clutch were Daewoo parts and a bit more expensive. Also fuel economy pretty poor for a mid size car with mid size engine.

Drives like an old astra, I've done a lot a long distances in it and it just does it's job, no frills.

Not bad.

Reliability
It's always started 1st time, the only time it let me down was when the clutch went on my way to work. My own fault really, it gave me plenty of warning!

Clutch, big job to replace only did mine because the rest of the car was in such good nick. Otherwise it would have been written off.
