What does this car say about you?

My wife's car and it shows she's an individual that doesn't just follow the crowd. Those Fiesta, Jazz and Polo buyers really have got it wrong!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

People think it's cute and roomy.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes - should be obvious by now

What are you likely to buy next?

Nothing for a few years - probably something Japanese built.

    What price did you pay?

    £5,500

    March 2006

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes as nearly £2000 cheaper than a new car - only 9 months old.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Predicted reliability, value for money, standard equipment amazing and large interior.

    What was the dealer like?

Loxal, established, very friendly and knowledgeable.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Solid and reassuring but not a sporty car. Not too noisy but economy (40mpg) could be better (but 1.3 engine tends to mean you're going quicker!). Lots of torque so easy round town and on motorway

    What's it like to park?

    Easy

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Speaker failed and small plastic retainer button on seatbelt - both fixed under warranty with no probems. Not bad for 40,000 miles!

What's most practical about your car?

Very large interior but small externally (I'm 6 foot 2 and am quite happy in rear, even after 150 mile journeys). Lots of cubby holes, height adjustable seats.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Air con, simple CD player, easy fold rear seats.
