Since when has the cost of being diferent been so cheap?
Costs
Stick to independant specialists. You can find them in Autotrader and other magazines - they really are worth the effort to find. I used a Midlands specialist who found me an absolutely mint one.

I prefer it to my friend's Seicento for its better handling and slightly quicker feel. Bit noisier though.
Performance
1.1 is never gonna feel like a rocket, but it's quicker to 40 from the traffic lights than most Ha Ha !! Great around the lanes though.

Reliability
Get good service advice ( again pointing to my specialist friend ). Recommend 'dropping' the oil every 6-7k miles with filter, checking antifreeze and giving a £70-80 service twice a year. May sound lots, but keeps it great.
