Good MPG. Low maintenance. Ideal as I'm a student.

Driving
If you want a comfy boring ride, this isn't the car for you. Definetely a 'driver's car'. Stiff suspension. Maybe a bit excessive with the body roll though.
Performance
It's got a tiny engine, but it don't arf go! This has made Fiat famous throughout its history, though.

Living with it
Reliability
Nothing major gone wrong, but lots of little niggly things keep occuring like my intermittent wiper stopped. Regular oil changes needed etc, but it wont die on you.

Full of character! Cinquecento drivers are like Mini's and Beetle's; part of a secret cult, so lights must be flashed at each other.
Comfort
Takes a bit of getting used to, sitting in the quite upright position, but once used to the car, it's fine.

Security
Well I've got locking wheel nuts, alarm and immobiliser so nobody touches mine. Many 2nd hand have this or if not, very cheap to do on this model.
Service
Aftersales service of Fiat is rubbish. Use small garages.

Regular oil changes and the head gasket blew, but my own fault for upchanging in to 3rd from 4th!!
