Unbearable depreciation lets it down.

Short service intervals for diesel models which, though described as optional, really need to be done at the 6000 mile intervals.

Good handling - steering rather lifeless, but good grip and quite enjoyable to drive.
Performance
Fairly torquey engine, but mine seems to suffer from lethargy at lower revs. Much better when turning at more than about 2500rpm.

Hard to say, but then probably the best security measure is that a thief wouldn't be seen dead in a diesel estate, let alone a Fiat diesel estate.
