Fiat Panda review (2023)

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

I brought this panda in June 2018 pre reg with delivery miles from main Fiat dealer as I wanted a cheap runaround for daily driving. Was very cheap for a new car just £7,995 with a years tax, floor mats & in black which was an optional colour. I generally dislike modern cars with all their unnessary driving assists & gadgets that should not be in a car, but this panda being so simple with a well proven engine & so basically equipped it feels like a car from the early 90s, thats not a bad thing. The less is more attitude I took when i brought the panda has more than paid off as the car is approching 3 years old with 22,500 miles & apart from usual servicing, not a single thing has gone wrong with it. The interior is a nice place to be with the memory foam seats as standard alongside the other nice touches such as the panda lettering on door cards, dash & around the gear change & squircles everywhere. It is comfortable on long journeys as I drive from Surrey to Liverpool 2-3 time a year to see relatives & still feel fine when I get there. Filling up at the petrol station is on the inexpensive side as a full tank is around £30-£35 which lasts me around 2 weeks with using the car almost everyday. Driving the panda can be quite entertaining as it has quite a bit of character like an old car & is without all the annoying driving aids, it also handles quite well around country lanes with no body roll. I think this is probably the best car i've owned in terms of reliability, simplicity & build quality as the quality i think is a lot better than cars that are 3-4 times more expensive. I will be keeping this car for many years to come as there are no other models that interest me & cars are getting more ugly nowadays & with the stupidly expensive electric cars with small range, so the government can do one with the 2030 new petrol & diesel car ban as i will not be taking to giving up a perfectly decent car for some horrible electric alternative
