A lot of equipment for the money. Nice power for the money too.

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

So far; €100 for the first service, €10 for rear wiper after somebody decided to rip the original off one night and €2 for touch up paint (stone chips).

    Driving

Handling is generally pretty good and firm. Not too much understeer. Choppy ride in town, but that I can live with! City button can be handy. Traction control can be turned off.

    Performance

    5 out of 5 5.0

Performance from the 1.8 engine is good above 4000rpm. I have achieved 145mph indicated in on a German autobahn (so probably about 135mph true speed). Acceleration is quick at just over 8 secs to 60.

  • Living with it

    Image

This particular variant of the Punto is not a common sight, especially in sprint blue. Image is pretty good. Not too flash, but a bit special.

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

The seats are comfortable and suportive for me (6'1"). Driving position is good for me.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Alarm etc. No probs, touch wood. Deadlocks would be good though.

    Service

    5 out of 5 5.0

Very good service. Courtesy car provided for the 12,000 mile service.
