  • Economy

    Value

    5 out of 5 5.0

For the space inside and the goodies (elec windows, central locking, alloys, spoiler, CD player) you get it can't be faulted.

    Costs

    5 out of 5 5.0

Like my previous Punto which was very reliable I expect this to be, average 40mpg driving mostly in urban areas.

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Firm ride and suspension doesn't cushion potholes but it does feel sporty to drive.

    Performance

    3 out of 5 3.0

Nippy is the right word up to about 40mph and then it's still not too bad, cruises easily at 80 on the motorway.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    4 out of 5 4.0

Too new to tell although expect it to be as reliable as my last Punto which never missed a beat.

    Image

With alloys and spoiler, looks the part in red, just don't try to beat anyone at the lights.

    Comfort

    3 out of 5 3.0

As said before, the ride is a bit firm but inside there really is loads of space, it's good to be able to raise the driver's seat as well for a better view of the road. Road noise does intrude into the cabin though, I think they skimped on soundproofing!

  • Security and Service

    Security

    3 out of 5 3.0

Immobiliser as standard and the alloys have locking nuts as standard and the stereo is a non-standard fit, reckon thieves will find an easier target.

    Service

    5 out of 5 5.0

Arnold Clark in Oldbury West Mids seem to know their onions and I got the car all in for just £6,400, will service myself anyway.
