In their own words

If it had a VW Group badge on it, the press would love it! I went from an Abarth 595 to Tipo because we really needed the space and practicality quickly, with good value. As a drivers car, well, it isn't one, its not trying to be. I knew that when I bought it and its fine. Its never going to be an Abarth, although the lack of feel through the steering is something I've never really got my head around. You can go at a reasonable pace on the B roads, when the mood takes you. As a car to drive, its very good, comfortable, roomy and easy to drive. The 1.6 Diesel is quite punchy. The interior is fine, nothing rattles or falls off, the seats are very good on a long journey. My Tipo does everything I expect of it. I think that the biggest problem is that its so anonymous, people don't know what it is, in that respect its quite dull. The only issue I've had is the DAB stopped and the Arial Base was replaced under warranty. The reliability is far better than FIAT's reputation I would recommend one. I don't want another because the new engines don't appeal. I'm going to get a 500X.
