What does this car say about you?

That I am a middle aged bloke with a couple of kids and a dog who spends a lot of time transporting them and their mates to football!! I have a sports car for when I am not taxiing though!!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Suprisingly I have always had positive comments. Someone actually said it looked sporty with the roof bar spoiler! The pale metallic green colour dooes make a huge difference as it makes the car look a bit less bulky.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No they have stopped making it. I would definatly consider a new one if they ever come to the UK again especially if it had the 6 speed transmission.

What are you likely to buy next?

Possibly a diesel 4x4 with 7 seat. That is after I have updated my Saab turbo with the latest model.

    £5,600

When did you buy the car?

    September 2007

Did you get a good deal and why?

I got a reasonable deal. I think the Dealer had had the car on the forecourt for a while so I made him a lowish offer.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I needed a car that carried 7 people and could tow.

    What was the dealer like?

Very good. He was a small independant and went out of his way to be helpfull.

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

The Ulysse is very car like to drive. there seems to be very little wallow in corners and with the 2.2 engine it has plenty of power.

    What's it like to park?

It has good visability and the parking sensors are a help. Has a good turning circle. The height can be an issue in multi storey carparks with the built in roof bars making the whole thing taller than a lot of car parks.

  • Living with it

There have been a few things go wrong. The Complicated SatNav, Radio, CD and Phone System no longer recieves a radio signal. The battery drains itself occasionally for no reason. Crankshaft pulley needed replacing.

What's most practical about your car?

Ther is loads of space and loads of power from the engine.

    Built in mobile phone. Fridge.
