Value
Used to be able to pick them up for next to nowt, but now getting very expensive.
Costs
Parts are getting harder to get, especially door mirrors and bits of trim e.g dashboards.

Driving
No, a clever driving position, but ok considering the design comes from the 60s.
Performance
Depending on model. Mine was a 16 laser, nothing special, but the 2.8 are very scary and the brockling even scarier.

Reliability
Engine and gearbox bullet proof. Overhead cam engines can get a bit rattly.

Love them with a passion, nothing on the roads looks even similar.
Comfort
Not too bad, depending on the seats you have. Could drive all day in mine when I had it.

Very poor, just leave the doors open, it stops them tearing your locks apart.

Never went to service stations, done all work myself.

No problems, but take off old vv carburettor, they are really rubbish, replace with webber.

Wish they still made them, would buy one tomorrow, if they did.
