Value
Bought second hand so depreciation was in my favour

Uses stanadard Ford 2.0 Zetec engine from Mondeo so parts and servicing are easy and cheap

Great handling, goes round corners like it's on rails

No major problems in 5 years. Ford has come a long way.

Very rare, and still turns heads when it's waxed
Comfort
Seats 4 adults comfortably as long as your not too tall in the back seats. I find the front seats really comfortable and the driving position excellent. The ride is a bit lumpy at low speeds due to the stiff suspension, but motorway driving is very stable

Don't leave anything valuable in the boot! There's no internal sensors and my laptop was stolen from my boot through the rear windscreen and parcel shelf.
Service
I've found the level of service varies a lot between garages. For a basic service I can't complain, but for specific problems your better off with an independant specialist. It's a Ford so most mechanics know how to fix it.
